I first discovered Tina Fey in the teen comedy Mean Girls (2004), back when I was pre-pubescent and lacked the mental capacity to comprehend what high school even was. I didn’t appreciate all that she is back in those fumbling years of my youth, but I do now.
Walt Disney World: The happiest place on earth – or so we thought.
It is not often that I go for subtitled movies and yet whenever I do, they never disappoint. Return of the Hero is hilarious in its idiocy and more than once I caught myself laughing aloud at the absurdity of it all.
Adam DeVine has never been high on my list of favourite actors. Ever since he played Bumper in Pitch Perfect (2012) and Mike in Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates (2016), I decided that he just really wasn’t my style. However, his role as Noah in When We First Met has drastically altered that one-eyed opinion.
The Doc Marten brand got some serious airtime throughout the duration of this film and if there is anything that I have learnt from watching Step Sisters, it’s that if I ever want to start stepping, I need to get myself a pair of those shoes.
There is no one who makes me laugh quite so much as Melissa McCarthy and I am excited to see her back on the big screen in all of her hilarious glory in Life of the Party.
A sad, sad movie with a comic undertone, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri follows a mother who uses three billboards to challenge the police in her small town, after her daughter is murdered and the culprit never caught.
The magical combination of elves, orcs and humans has been done before, and I couldn’t have imagined it being all too easy for David Ayer’s Bright to top that of its predecessor, The Lord of the Rings (2001).
Henceforth referred to simply as Jim & Andy, this film is one that struck me as incredibly honest and raw. The film gives viewers a behind the scenes look into the making of Man On The Moon (1999), where Jim Carrey plays out the life and career of renowned comedian, Andy Kaufman.
Hold onto your capes everybody, the world’s favourite superhero family, The Incredibles are back and set to return to the big screen in June of 2018 with Incredibles 2.
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has become a prominent fixture in the film world of late and next in line is his role in the upcoming science-fiction movie Rampage.
Spacewalkers had me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire film. As the shamelessly uneducated communications graduate that I am, I had no idea how it was going to end.
Though I have enjoyed Lady Gaga’s music over the years, I never quite reached that ‘fan girl’ status. Her whole schtick has always been a little too eccentric for my plain, perfectly poised liking.
