Aaron Paul reprises his role as fan-favourite TV character Jesse Pinkman in the upcoming El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie for Netflix.
El Camino picks up right after the events of the final episode of the smash-hit TV series Breaking Bad.
Pinkman managed to make it out alive after the devastation left in the wake of Breaking Bad’s series finale, though not unscathed.
We don’t get much by way of the plot from this new trailer, though we see a dishevelled Aaron Paul as Jesse Pinkman arrive at the house of his friends Skinny Pete (Charles Baker) and Badger (Matt Jones).
From there he cleans himself up and appears to go on a mission of revenge while being hunted down by police.
We also get to see plenty of imagery from the show’s location, Albuquerque, New Mexico, which has now become iconically familiar to fans of the series.
Series director Vince Gilligan is directing the film for Netflix and it’s due out on 11 October 2019, worldwide.
It was recently also confirmed that Jonathan Banks will be returning to reprise his role as the popular hitman Mike Ehrmantraut, though there’s still no sign of the show’s lead character, Walter White (Bryan Cranston) anywhere in the mix.
El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie should draw a massive amount of eyeballs for Netflix considering the fanbase, so here’s hoping the film can live up to expectations.
