Warner Bros. Pictures Unveils 4 Blockbuster Movie Trailers at Comic-Con

best blockbuster movie 2018

The 2018 edition of Comic-Con is in full swing and Warner Bros. Pictures has treated fans to 4 blockbuster movie trailers from its upcoming slate.

All 4 of these films have one thing in common – they’re all part of a wider extended universe, and they are, of course, all epic!

Check them out below.

Aquaman

James Wan’s highly anticipated entry into the DCEU, Aquaman, sees Jason Momoa playing the titular character with an ensemble cast that includes Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Nicole Kidman.

The first trailer showcases some epic action with some stunning visuals.

The DCEU has been off to a rocky start, but Aquaman looks set to balance things up for the better.

Aquaman is out on 26 December 2018.

Shazam!

DC and Warner Bros. will be unveiling a new character for their shared universe in 2019’s Shazam!

Zachary Levi plays the titular character, Shazam – a superhero who is actually the young boy, Billy Batson (Asher Angel).

Batson, the new kid in town, is constantly bullied when he is chosen to wield a set of magical superpowers that transform him into the superhero Shazam at will.

It’s the type of plot that would fit right into a 90’s fantasy film lineup and features a much more lighthearted tone for the DCEU.

Shazam! releases on 5 April 2019.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald

The Crimes of Grindelwald follows on from 2016’s Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and sees the return of Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander.

Jude Law and Johnny Depp also join what is an already impressive ensemble cast.

Set in the Harry Potter universe, the film is due for release on 15 November 2018.

Check out the new trailer below.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters

Set in the Warner Bros. MonsterVerse, Godzilla: King of the Monsters is the sequel to 2014’s Godzilla.

King of the Monsters sees the great lizard-monster return to battle more epic movie monsters including Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, King Ghidorah.

The first trailer for this film is absolutely epic and features some gorgeous visuals and a grand operatic score.

It won’t get much bigger than this as far as blockbuster movies go!

The film releases on 31 May 2019.
